SYDNEY/TOKYO (Reuters) – Asian shares retreated from six-month highs on Friday as conflicting alerts from China and the US on progress made in commerce talks deflated market hopes of a close to time period truce to finish their damaging tariff conflict.

In an indication of the nervousness, the pan-region Euro Stoxx 50 futures and German DAX futures eased 0.35% every in early European buying and selling whereas London’s FTSE futures slipped 0.24%.
E-mini futures for the S&P 500 have been down 0.3%.
